I am a past OOPSLA conference chair (2002) and currently serving on the steering committee. As such I am very interested in this forum hoping that the open discussion will result in some practical ideas that ultimately can be implemented to serve the interest of OOPSLA, its sponsor (ACM/SIGPLAN) and the community it serves.
